Dr. Martin Nusswald

Dr Nusswald has over 30 years’ experience in IT. Following 10 years in international SAP consulting with leading IT service providers, he successfully managed and made a lasting impact on IT as CIO at global corporations. Throughout his career, he has worked as a consultant and project manager, as well as a CIO, in the mechanical engineering, automotive and logistics sectors. His expertise and excellent communication skills quickly make him a valued business partner at all levels.

His key achievements include several global SAP roll-out projects and the restructuring of international IT organisations. This includes setting up a Global Delivery Centre in India and redesigning business/IT integration. In his most recent CIO role, he transformed the IT infrastructure for over 300 sites with 16,000 users to a cloud-based operation and significantly improved cyber security.

Today, Dr Nusswald focuses on advising companies on defining and implementing a forward-looking, tailor-made digitalisation/IT strategy, on the implementation of complex IT projects, and on the optimisation of international IT organisations. His focus is always on cost efficiency and performance.
