Tom Henkel has more than 30 years of experience in managing international IT organisations and transformation projects in the retail, consumer goods and logistics sectors. After completing his MBA at the renowned WHU in the International Programme of the Kellogg Business School, he began his professional career at Siemens AG (now Infineon). Thomas Henkel then worked for 15 years as IT manager at Amer Sports, Finland (including the redesign and introduction of European distribution logistics, post-merger integration of Salomon AG, design and implementation of a harmonised global business process and system landscape) and as managing director of the European service company.
This was followed by positions as CIO and Managing Director of the service company at C&A, Düsseldorf, and E/D/E (a group of companies for tools, sanitation, construction and steel) in Wuppertal.
In addition to these positions, Thomas Henkel has been on the Advisory Board of CIONET, the largest global association of CIOs, for over 13 years.
Based on this CV, Tom Henkel is now responsible for the retail, consumer goods and logistics sectors at ACENT and contributes his experience to complex transformation projects, both in terms of technology and in the area of process and organisational development.
