Joachim Schmitz

Joachim Schmitz began his career more than 40 years ago as IT architecture consultant for IBM Global Services and then worked for more than five years as IT Chief Architect at Delphi Automotive in the USA. For several years, he was responsible for global IT infrastructure, applications, IT projects and IT services in different companies and industries. Since 2015, Joachim Schmitz has taken on freelance positions as CIO, CISO, ISO, PSO, DPO and works as an expert in the field of information security. He is an active member of the VDE, VDI, BDSF, IT Sicherheitscluster e.V.
