Thomas Pirlein

Thomas Pirlein is an experienced CIO/CDO with international background who has been responsible for numerous transformation projects as part of digitization programs in the chemical, fashion and food industries for more than 25 years in Europe, Asia-Pacific and the USA.

After starting his career at IBM Germany, he moved to Henkel KGaA, where he was responsible for IT Henkel Asia Pacific in Malaysia and Hong Kong for six years, among other things. This was followed by management and CIO positions at Lekkerland, Esprit and Aldi Süd International. In his last position as CIO, he was also responsible for the digital transformation at the Theo Müller group of companies. Thomas Pirlein is an international team player and adept at dealing with cultural challenges that transformations in global ecosystems can bring.

His focus at ACENT is on interim management, management of IT transformation and harmonization programs, and consulting on and implementation of target architectures in the infrastructure and application area.
