Andrea Schmitz

Andrea Schmitz has more than 25 years of management experience, initially spending 12 years in her own continuously growing company in the construction industry, and later in management roles in international IT consultancies.

Since moving into consulting, she has focused on digital transformation and has managed complex IT projects and programmes in various industries. With her holistic approach, she ensures a clear strategy and a coordinated concept that takes into account not only technology but also processes, culture and organisation.

As an aerospace engineer, she has a deep understanding of the needs of technology-driven companies, particularly in the aerospace and defence industries. Business requirements in this highly regulated industry are reliably translated into IT. From target vision development to change leadership to implementation, she connects business with IT and people.

Andrea Schmitz is also a business coach for executives, a certified supervisory board member and a passionate workshop facilitator. She teaches communication and soft skills for engineers at Munich University of Applied Sciences.
