Martin Kolbe

Martin Kolbe has more than 20 years of international experience as a global CIO in technology-driven industries such as logistics, financial services and enterprise services. In senior positions at Kühne + Nagel, DHL Express and Dresdner Bank, he was responsible for global transformation programmes, large IT organisations and the development of scalable, customer-centric digital platforms. A particular focus of his career has been on building modern, data- and AI-driven IT ecosystems that enable omnichannel strategies, real-time transparency and automated decision-making.

His most significant achievements include the development of a global data and AI platform, AI-based forecasting and personalisation solutions, the modernisation of ERP and cloud architectures, and the implementation of the myKN digital customer portal. He has extensive expertise in API-first design, predictive analytics, cybersecurity and agile operating models, and has served on various supervisory and management boards.

Today, Mr Kolbe advises companies on the development of AI-enabled IT strategies, the introduction of intelligent platforms, and the implementation of scalable digital and automation solutions to sustainably increase efficiency, customer focus, and speed of innovation.
